This simulator treats California like its own economic heavyweight and throws it into the ring with G7 economies, trade hubs, and smaller nations that can still punch above their weight. GDP drives the board here more than any other variable, but export reach, innovation, ports, resilience, and growth decide who turns money into actual battle pressure.

Why This One Is Modern-Only

California vs the world is intentionally locked to a modern build. The whole hook is contemporary economic scale, export pressure, and which present-day economies can actually keep up with California in a browser brawl.

That means no historical toggle here. Instead of arguing over military peaks across centuries, this page is about modern GDP rankings, trade throughput, innovation leverage, and whether a smaller but cleaner economy can still upset a giant.

Economic Bloc Breakdown

G7

Advanced industrial economies with enough output, institutional depth, and global reach to keep California honest in a straight economic slugfest.

This simulator currently includes 7 economies in G7: California, Germany, Japan, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Canada.

Average simulator profile: HP 73.4, ATK 70.9, DEF 73.3, SPD 64.3, CRIT 69.7, STAM 70.4, and MORALE 38.4.

Current standouts inside this roster: highest HP goes to Germany, highest ATK to Germany, highest DEF to Germany, highest SPD to Germany, and highest CRIT to Germany.

Europe

European economies in this simulator usually win with dense export networks, finance, manufacturing depth, and institutional resilience instead of raw size alone.

This simulator currently includes 7 economies in Europe: Germany, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Switzerland, Sweden, Greece.

Average simulator profile: HP 45.7, ATK 45.6, DEF 45.6, SPD 44.3, CRIT 48.6, STAM 45.3, and MORALE 29.7.

Current standouts inside this roster: highest HP goes to Germany, highest ATK to Germany, highest DEF to Germany, highest SPD to Germany, and highest CRIT to Germany.

Asia-Pacific

Asia-Pacific picks tend to bring trade speed, port throughput, supply-chain leverage, and high-tech punch that can turn a smaller economy into a nasty matchup.

This simulator currently includes 6 economies in Asia-Pacific: Japan, South Korea, Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, Vietnam.

Average simulator profile: HP 30.2, ATK 28.7, DEF 31.3, SPD 54.3, CRIT 35.7, STAM 29.3, and MORALE 44.7.

Current standouts inside this roster: highest HP goes to Japan, highest ATK to Japan, highest DEF to Japan, highest SPD to Singapore, and highest CRIT to Japan.

North America

North American entries mix consumer scale, trade integration, logistics depth, and continent-sized market access.

This simulator currently includes 2 economies in North America: California, Canada.

Average simulator profile: HP 64.5, ATK 62.5, DEF 66.0, SPD 65.5, CRIT 60.5, STAM 60.5, and MORALE 71.5.

Current standouts inside this roster: highest HP goes to California, highest ATK to California, highest DEF to California, highest SPD to California, and highest CRIT to California.

Trade Hubs

Trade hub economies are dangerous because they convert ports, air cargo, finance, and supply-chain centrality into tempo and pressure.

This simulator currently includes 11 economies in Trade Hubs: California, Germany, Japan, United Kingdom, France, South Korea, Australia, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Greece.

Average simulator profile: HP 47.0, ATK 45.7, DEF 47.5, SPD 63.8, CRIT 49.7, STAM 45.5, and MORALE 48.4.

Current standouts inside this roster: highest HP goes to Germany, highest ATK to Germany, highest DEF to Germany, highest SPD to Singapore, and highest CRIT to Germany.

Smaller Nations

These are not tiny in real life, but they sit below the biggest GDP giants in this roster and are here to create real upset potential.

This simulator currently includes 7 economies in Smaller Nations: Singapore, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Sweden, New Zealand, Vietnam, Greece.

Average simulator profile: HP 7.7, ATK 8.7, DEF 9.0, SPD 39.1, CRIT 18.0, STAM 8.9, and MORALE 47.9.

Current standouts inside this roster: highest HP goes to Switzerland, highest ATK to Switzerland, highest DEF to Switzerland, highest SPD to Singapore, and highest CRIT to Singapore.

Battle Mechanics

Battles are fought in a best of 3 format, with each team picking 1, 2, or 3 economies to fight. The combat system is still Fantasy Brawls style, but the raw inputs here are economic instead of military-first. GDP gives the heavyweights their backbone, while ports, exports, and innovation keep the smaller entries live.

  • Strike: Baic attack, it does decent damage and costs a moderate amount of stamina.
  • Power Play: This is a stronger attack that costs more stamina. If you've got the stamina to spare, it can turn the tide of battle for you.
  • Brace: Reduces damage from the next attack against this country and grants guard for one turn. Guard will prevent your next action from being interrupted by a stun or switch effect.
  • Rally: Boosts your attack for the next turn and restores a small amount of stamina. Think of it like Swords Dance or Howl in Pokemon.
  • Rest: Skip a turn to recover some stamina and HP.
  • Switch: Replace your active country with one from your bench.

Experiment with different matchups to see whether California really can run through the bracket or whether Germany, Japan, Singapore, or one of the smaller trade economies can catch it slipping.

Future Updates and Features

PvP will come later, but the obvious next step for this page is adding matchup toggles for manufacturing-heavy builds, port-war builds, innovation spikes, and commodity shocks so the roster can feel even more like a live economic war room.
