Major US cities duke it out here Fantasy Brawls style. Each metro enters the arena with a stat line built from population depth, metro scale, land footprint, local economic muscle, airport reach, and transit quality. Here is the read on how those numbers land in battle:
| Stat | Raw Source Rule | Battle Use |
|---|---|---|
| HP | Metro population | Max health pool |
| ATK | GDP, airport pull, culture, and growth pressure | Base damage |
| DEF | Metro depth, land room, transit, and infrastructure weight | Damage reduction |
| SPD | Airport throughput, transit quality, and city tempo | Turn order |
| CRIT | Culture, visibility, and economic punch | Critical hit chance |
| MORALE | Momentum and civic energy | Attack pressure and comeback bias |
| STAMINA | Metro depth, throughput, and modern growth blend | Action economy |
| REGION | Shared US region tags | Team morale and stamina synergy |
This simulator is intentionally modern. Cities do not get the same historical era treatment as countries because the point here is to pit today's metros against each other at full contemporary scale. A city's numbers are meant to capture how dangerous it feels right now: how much population it can throw into the mix, how much money and movement it controls, and how hard it is to slow down once it gets rolling.
Massive health pool, ruthless pace, and enough economic weight to turn almost any fight into a grind.
Fast, flashy, and dangerous when momentum is on its side. Miami fights like a heat check that got out of hand.
A dense legacy bruiser with real defensive backbone. Chicago usually wins by making lighter cities hit a wall.
The Northeast groups the dense legacy corridor cities that run from New England into the old northeastern urban belt. In this simulator, that usually means strong economic depth, layered infrastructure, and compact city cores.
This simulator currently includes 5 cities in Northeast: New York City, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Boston, Baltimore.

Battles are fought in a best of 3 format, with each team picking 1, 2, or 3 cities to fight. This is a turn based battle system, very similar to Fantasy Brawls, Pokemon, and other classic games. When its your turn, you can pick from a variety of commands to try and outplay your opposing city.
Experiment with different city combinations and strategies to see what lineup actually controls the map. If you land on a truly nasty squad, share it on social media and tag us @FantasyBrawls so we can see which metros you are backing.
PvP will be coming in a future update, so you can battle your friends and other players online. I also want to expand this simulator with matchup modes that lean harder into what makes one city different from another, including airport-heavy builds, crime stats, tourism or culture nuances that let smaller cities punch above their raw population tier. If you have any suggestions for features or improvements, please drop me an email at [email protected] or a DM on Twitter @FantasyBrawls. I'm always looking for ways to make the game more fun and engaging, and I love hearing from the community.
