Battle Arena Generator

Fantasy Brawls' Battle Arena Generator gives game developers and fiction writers a quick and easy way to brainstorm names for epic battle zones. Each click will grant you a unique name, buffs for certain character types, and rules unique to the arena you've generated. Using it is super simple. We've included some quick instructions below the tool.

How To Use The Generator

I load the generator with a random selection whenever you load the page. If this one works perfectly for you, great! And congrats — your luck is significantly better than mine as of late. But if you're unlucky like me, chances are you'll need to take a few spins before landing on the right name. Here's how to do it.

• Smash the Generate button.
• Each attribute generated — theme, hazards, etc. — can be used to help craft your battle arena.
• The themes themselves serve as standalone names if you're feeling froggy.
• For my fellow game devs, pay attention to the rules and hazards that generate. They’re a nice starting point for gameplay mechanics. You'll even see a few that I use in Fantasy Brawls.

What Are Themes

Themes are essentially the DNA of your battlefield. For example, the Frozen Tundra Basin theme has hazards like Frostbite and Slippery Ice. I actually took part of that name for one of the terrains in my game, The Frozen Tundra. It does the obvious buffs to Ice types but also has a chance of spawning a snowstorm that causes non-Ice types to get a nasty frostburn.

My Favorite Battle Arena Names

Here are some of my favorite names this generator has produced.

• Shadow Gardens
• Insidious Frost (most certainly going to be one of my next terrains)
• Abyssal Coral
• Eternal Machinations
• Holylands (a current terrain in Fantasy Brawls)
• Fade Zone (personal favorite — my fellow South Floridians will appreciate this one)
